Avenza Help
  • What is Avenza?

Avenza is a mobile navigation app that lets you download maps for offline use.  Once you have a map downloaded, Avenza will show you where you are on the map and provides various navigation tools.  Provided you have downloaded the map ahead of time, Avenza is fully functional even when you don't have cell service.  The Avenza app is available for free, although you need to create an account.  Most people find the free version of the Avenza app suitable for their needs, although they may choose to purchase maps to use with Avenza.  The Forest Service maps for our local Sno-Parks are available for free to use  with the Avenza app.

  • How do I learn how to use Avenza?
The Avenza support page can help.  Also, CONC ran a series of webinars on Avenza, and the recordings of those are available on the Video page under Navigation and Safety.
  • Where can I get printable maps of the Sno-Parks?
Go to the Trail Information page.  Clicking on a map will open it in a larger format suitable for printing.
