We will walk the PCT north from Willamette Pass up to the Lower, Middle and Upper Rosary Lakes, stopping for lunch at one of the lakes. Views of the lakes and nearby Pulpit Rock are the stars of this hike. We will return back to our cars via the same route. Mosquitos possible.
Distance: 7.1 miles round trip. Plan on spending 6-7 hours including drive time to/from the trailhead.
Elevation gain/loss: 843 feet gain
What to bring: Ten essentials, water, snack/lunch, and proper footwear (no tennis shoes or sandals). Dogs are not allowed on this hike.
Difficulty level: Moderate
Number of hikers: 10 max including hike leader.
Carpooling: Carpooling can be arranged at the meeting place. If you ride with someone, please donate to their gas fund.
Meeting place: Meet at 8 am in the parking lot of the Riverwoods Country Store on Baker Road, right off Hwy 97 (Baker Rd/Knott Rd Exit) on the far south side of Bend. We can carpool from there. Toilet and snacks available. Trip leader will be driving a blue Subaru Forester. Be prepared to leave by 8:00 am sharp!
