Snowshoe Trail Maintenance
Tuesday November 25th
8:00 to 1:30

Between good progress at Swampy last week and other trails previously, we are down to a few odd-n-ends of pre-season work (trail status report). We have two projects for next Tuesday. Dave Alward has offered to clear a  "jumble of logs" on the Porcupine Snowshoe trail near the old Swampy Shelter and needs 2 swampers.  The second project is at Meissner and involves cutting one 12" blowdown, replacing a "You Are Here" map at junction "T", installing ~10 brackets along the Long Loop Snowshoe Trail where we lost the corridor due to recent thinning, and brushing ~100' of the Short Loop trail. Again, a couple or more folks would get the work completed quickly.

Trail conditions should be good with little, if any, snow. Walking distance will be about 3 miles at Meissner and 4 miles at Swampy.

 Plans
