It is time to resuscitate the burned Edison trails. Our goal will be to post assurance markers on the Light Bulb Loop.
We will be using free-standing ladders to post plastic markers on burned trees. There is no shade and the ground is "dead-burned", so we will work only in the morning. However, temperatures are forecast to only reach the low 70s, so it will be chilly at first and then comfortable around noon.
We’ll bring a couple of hand saws, ladders, hammers, and lots of markers and nails. Bring a pack that’s large enough to carry some of these tools and supplies, and of course water and snacks.
What to bring: Extra gloves (since they’re likely to get black), water, snack/lunch. Hard hats are required for this work; let me know if you need one. Bring a hand saw if you have one.
Meet at the Edison Son-Park at 7:45 am. We will drive together to Junction 115 in a high clearance vehicle.
