This hike features scenic views of the Crooked River canyon and desert wildflowers. Please bring rain gear due to slight chance of rain.
Distance: 7.8 miles RT. Plan on spending 7-8 hours including drive time to/from the trailhead.
Elevation gain/loss: 300 feet of gain
What to bring: Ten essentials, water, snack/lunch, and proper footwear (no tennis shoes or sandals). Dogs are not allowed on this hike.
Difficulty level: moderate.
Number of hikers: 9 maximum
Carpooling: Carpooling can be arranged at the meeting place. If you ride with someone, please donate to their gas fund. Be generous for obvious reasons.
Meeting place: Petsmart in Cascade Center. Petsmart is located on 63455 N Hwy 97, Bend, OR 97701, right off of NW Robal Lane.
