Mix a bluebird sunny day with a couple of inches of fresh powder and temps that stayed below freezing, and you have the makings of a great day of skiing.

Five skiers (2 dropped out due to medical issues) headed up the eastern leg of Swampy Loop, then turned off on the lower Swede Ridge loop.  We skied to the Swede Ridge shelter for lunch, then around the upper part of the loop where we survived the long uphill at the top of the loop.  From there it was a nice cruise down past the Swampy shelter and back to the parking lot via the western leg of Swampy loop for ~7.5 miles of skiing.

It was a fun, sunny day up at Swampy with great views of Broken Top!  Thanks to Dick Kennish for agreeing take over and leading his first tour!
